Heading out

After Liz’s weeks of packing and my several days of concentrated packing, we were able to get our moving truck all loaded up with the help of 8 or 10 friends.  Helping people move is something I’ve done a lot, but you never realize what a big deal it is until people help you.

This afternoon, some of the people from yesterday, and a few other friends, met us at Clancy’s for some bowling.  On Sundays you can get a lane for $8/hr.  That’s a pretty good deal compared to normal charges per person per game.

Tomorrow we’ll be heading out of town on our way to New Hampshire, so if you don’t hear from us for a few days, that’s probably why.  The cable company is scheduled to setup our internet on Wednesday so we should be able to check out email then.

Good luck with the move! I remember hauling everything back from Chicago, it can be daunting knowing you have all of your possessions packed tetris-style into a moving van, but it’ll be good to have the chance to start over in NH.

I’m glad to hear you have your priorities in order, getting the internet connection setup ASAP.
