So today I was getting into the shower and heard the weirdest noise coming from above. That was then followed by a sound of great rushing water. I think my upstairs neighbors were plunging their toilet.

That wouldn’t be the first time I’ve had water gushing in from the apartment upstairs
Once a long time ago I had freinds in Briarwood. Tom and Sue were out of town and I was kind of the guy in charge because I had a master key. So my friends give me a call, they’ve gotten back from a weekend away and their kitchen floor is covered with cruddy water backed up from their sink. It later turned out that their upstairs neighbors had made candles and poured the extra wax down the sink, and it got all the way down to the bottom of the building before clogging it. So for the rest of the weekend whenever they poured stuff down their sink or did dishes, it backed up into my friends’ place so they were none the wiser. Tom was not a happy camper when he found out.
