I found $10 in my pocket the other day!!! It was my money already, but finding it and not knowing it was there makes it seem like it’s money I never had. Things have been really slow at work the past couple days. Sam and I were talking about bringing in some movies to watch while nobody’s around. That sounded like an awesome idea til I started thinking about a lot of the movies I own. Most of them probably wouldn’t be safe to bring in - mainly because there’s swearing of some sort in a lot of them if not other content that will be sure to offend somebody. Oh if only I owned fluffy films good for sharing with the masses. I should take in some spanish stuff to work on tomorrow in case it’s another slow day.
While lifting today I decided to give somebody some pointers on some stuff. First time somebody hasn’t told me to piss off(in one way or another) when I’ve told them they’re lifting incorrectly in quite some time. It’s always interesting how people respond when being told they’re wrong, doing something incorrectly, etc. I know I’ve definitely reacted in the wrong manner at times. It’s so much easier to spot things in other people though. I was reading once it’s easiest to spot your own faults in others…as opposed to things you don’t struggle with. This seems to make a lot of sense, however, I also spot things in people I don’t think I have a problem with. Maybe these are just personal flaws I haven’t recognized/dealt with/am willing to admit. Or maybe whoever said that was full of crap.

Looks like Liz made it safely to London. I’d really like to travel through Europe some day. Don’t know when that’ll ever happen though. There is however a good chance I’ll be able to head down to Mexico sometime in the future, if some things happen, with the university. Now that would be fun. I’ve never been very far south into the country but I love it so much. I wasn’t born there and have never lived there, but it just feels like home. Hard to explain. Even though I love living in the luxury I have in the United States there’s just something about Mexico that resonates with me.
