I haven’t been making my post-a-day quota that I thought I might keep when I started this thing and I’m ok with that. Some days you’re just busy and have stuff to do. Last night went and saw Bourne Supremacy with Mahan, Michael and Brahm. There was something in the theater that set mine and Tim’s allergies off like none other. Tim’s nose was running horribly and my eyes started swelling up and I could hardly breathe. Really sucked. I had my eyes closed half the movie cause I could hardly see anything otherwise. Then the asthma kicked in. Oh how I hate my bronchial tubes sometimes. Ended up not going to church today. Pretty much laid in my bed til 1:30. Then when I do get up I can’t walk around at normal speeds and stuff. Spent most of the afternoon doing laundry at Nathan’s. Took over Ghost World and Apt Pupil to watch while my clothes got clean. Watched Ghost World with the spanish subtitles on. I love watching movies with the subtitles cause it’s a good way to learn some phrases and words. Plus, it makes my brain think a bit. Another cool side affect is it sometimes puts me in what I like to call “spanish mode” where I start talking and thinking everything in spanish without making the effort. I know this happened a few times at work during the school year when I’d be putting tests and quizzes online for spanish profs cause Mel has said I start talking in spanish to her. It’s weird sometimes cause I don’t always realize I’m doing it…but it’s kinda cool too. Just wish I was more fluent.
Well, another one bit the dust. Lloyd is now a married man. I got one more wedding for the summer and that’s Crack Timmy’s next weekend. He’s getting married to THE MAN’s daughter, Jennifer Campbell. She’s really cool and she and Crack are really meant for each other. It should be a fun wedding. Well not much else going on. Currently talking to the hermanita online, gonna laminate my Napoleon Dynamite poster when the laminator is warmed up, and hopefully Squatz should be back soon.
Dude, that sucks about the allergy thing… Last night Chad and I were cleaning the shop and kicked up so much saw dust that I am still blowing my nose and i have brown snot… then he started cleaning with something down there and it had the nastiest fumes…. goodness gracious… I got a head buzz going to sleep light night! But the shop is now clean… well 8 million times better than it was before we started!
I hate asthma, too. Do you ever run into people who think you’re just moping around when you’re having asthma, that you’re not really sick? People don’t know what they’re talking about sometimes. Hope your breathing gets better.
Yeah, I unfortunately run into those kinds of people and they anger me sometimes. I usually suggest, in my 50% voice, that they hire a monkey to passively choke them and then we’ll see how they like it. It’s not that bad right now though. I sneezed a couple times and I can yawn which are two good signs. AND my lips haven’t gone blue. It’s still a pain though.
